Lee has asked me that question more than once during the past three months. I jokingly tell him I did promise "in sickness and in health", but I'd like to see more of the health part!! We've been married almost 5 years. About six months after we were married, Lee underwent a seven-hour surgery, and about a month after that went through a three week cluster cycle...not the way I pictured the first year of married life! Between then and now, he's been through a couple more surgeries and, of course, the latest CH cycle. But, if it had been me instead of him, would he be sorry he married me...I think I can safely speak for him--absolutey NOT. It is painful and frustrating to see someone you love going through a pain that you can't take away. I know there are some people here who have lost marriages and relationships to this beast, but I also see people like Cheryl, Ree, Margi, and many others who stand alongside their sufferer and support them the best they can...for one big reason--we love these clusterheads! And, I'm sure the same applies to your husband. Sorry for rambling on--this just struck me, I guess. And, SuzieQ, Happy Anniversary!
