My first CH occurred at 50 years old. Before that, if I'd known I was gonna live so long, I'd have took better care of myself. (just kidding). I've never been much of a drinker (not that I haven't pulled my share a few times), moderate smoker and think I live a fairly heathly life.
If the drinking and smoking etc. were to blame, these things would have hit when I was a lot younger and indestructable.
I don't really think that has anything to do with it. Some of us are just "luckier" than others. We probably ticked someone off in a former life or something.
Anyhow, that's my opinion.
