I think that men are, by nature, "Mr. Fix-its". They thrive on being needed and being able to fix whatever is wrong. Our knights in shining armor, if you will. CH'ers suffer from something they can not fix or make better, and I would venture to guess it may take its toll on the men in our lives. They may feel helpless, watching us suffer, feel inadequate, unable to help, and since it is our suffering that they can not fix, they associate their "helplessness" directly with us, creating them to push us away(does this make sense?). Women tend to nurture, we don't NEED to fix it, just to BE there makes us feel good. I believe it is in our nature.
I welcome any comments to my assessment... especially from any men in the group.
