I recently went to a "headache forum" given by the local community hospital. The neuro who spoke gave that same opinion about clusters, and that all of the people she knew who had CH were smokers. A gentleman in the audience said he hadn't smoked for over 30 years and was still getting CHs. I have never smoked. Hate to disagree with you and the doc.
