Not sure but it doesn't sound like you are in a cluster cycle. My Dr. has me on Vicodin and Neurontin and I did the Prednisone thing also. My clusters are on my left side with a burning knot in my left tempo. If your Dr. is not sure what type of headache you are having, I would get a new Dr. Try checking out the information on the left to see if you fit any of the types of headaches there.
