I think your family and friends are right. I was told the same thing by a neurologist, but he scheduled the MRI anyhow, at my request. It was not a total waste of money, ($1000) however, because the image showed some broken vessels in my hard head, probably from the whack with a beer bottle. By the time clusterheads get around to neuros and MRI's, tumor is not usually suspected as the cause of pain. If you have all the symptoms of clusters, including cycles, you shouldn't get uptight about the possiblility of tumor. As Jonny said, lie back and enjoy the music.
