I tend to agree with Todd in that this message board has evolved into what it is and probably isn't going to change. There is obviously a need for a place like this where we can interact, fight, assist, bicker, sooth and advise. There must be or the MB wouldn't be what it is.
Is there a need for another place to talk strictly CH? A place that is strongly policed and restricted to medical/scientific talk about CH? A place where the rude and offensive posts are quickly removed?
I hesitate to put up another message board unless there is a strong desire to have one along the scientific lines. Even then it becomes difficult to decide which posts stay and which don't.
Although I hesitate, I definately don't want OUCH to be seen in the light that Dr. Kudrow sees it. I want it to be seen by the medical professionals as a legitmate organization. One to be listened to when we tell them about our disease. One that is taken seriously!!!!
So maybe there is a need for a non-touchy/feely board at OUCH. I don't know just yet. This is the kind of thing I need some input on from you. Let me know what you think. I'll also talk it over with DJ when I see him this Saturday.
Speaking of DJ, his surgery is 07:30 PST and should last 7 hours. The good news is that the tests show he only needs the graf on the right side of his head. Not both sides as was thought at first.
