You're not supposed to take a triptan within 24 hours of having taken ergotamine.
Based on all of the surveys we've done:
Best abortive - Imitrex injections
2nd - O2
Best prevenative - Verapamil
2nd - prednisone
There are a lot more meds in each catagory but these are the mainstay for most.
