Yes, I go into the office while in the middle of a bad one, it is basically like having local anesthetic injected into various parts of your face (above and below the eye) in the scalp, neck, and shoulders. The small amount of pain from the needles is nothing for the relief. The only problem is that it only lasts for about 6 hours. But better than nothing. It can be repeated as often as you like.
