Hi KevinI think most of us who are on verapamil have experienced your side (and rear) effects; they are common. My neurologist put me on something called Tiazac. It's taken in the same dosages etc. He said it was exactly like verapamil, but did not cause constipation etc., and for me, he was correct.I think Tiazac is considerably more expensive than verapamil (not sure, because I have a drug plan and don't see the costs), but so far (two years) my insurance company hasn't balked. In any case, it's worth a try. It worked for me, and seemd to combat the HAs as effectively as the verapamil. If anyone knows anything to the contrary about tiazac as opposed to verapamil, please post.Ken
