I went to the doctor today for 2 reasons...one to ask about my headache's and for a weird itching frenzy I have had over the past week.
Well it comes out that my headaches could be 1 of 2 things.
First of all the doctor said that I had swollen lympth nodes (spelling) and basically I could possible have a hyper-thyroid.
But she also said that the symptons I described pointed to Clusters. So what I will be doing over the next few weeks is documenting my headache's. After this I will be assigned to a specialist neuro.
My blood was taken to check various things. I was also prescribed xanax for possible stress causing the hives that started last week and something called Allegra to help the itching.
Anyway I hate going to the doctor and I am so anxious to find out what they find with the blood test. I'm crossing my fingers hoping that the headache's I get are from my thyroid and that its just a coincidense that they carry the same symptons of clusters.
I just wanted to thank everyone in here for the small suggestions and what not.
Last night I woke up once again at 3:30am with a terrible headache. THis headache lasted 35 minutes and was really bad...but I hgave had way worse....so I paced the house for 30 minuted and pushed on my temple the whole time.
