The first time my neuro showed me how to inject the imitrex he did it in my arm but said I could do it in my thigh. Early on I did it in my leg because, sitting down, I couldn't pull away, as I feared I might with the arm. Also, then the band aids are not in a visible place
I've been doing this imitrex tip in the leg as well--which might explain why I got a little blood backwash.
