Why not try Verapamil? It sounds like you are still having minor breakthroughs. I am on nearly 4 weeks of being breakthrough free because of prednisone and now verapamil. Now that I know about Verapamil I will take it every Nov-Feb as a preventative. And it is safe, contrary to what you might hear.
