Sometimes spammers collect all of the email addresses they can find on a site and send junk to all or to just a few (depends on their target).
There's not a whole lot you can do unless the same personkeeps doing it. If there are "Remove" instructions in th eemail... don't even reply, that can make it worse if they discover you have a real email address. These usually come from addresses like 0993578@yahoo.com or 55667388@hotmail.com.
Other times, it might be from somebody you might have pissed off on a message board. If that is the case and you know they did it to harrass or threaten you, there is a lot you can do about it. The police or FBI will be happy to investigate those type emails.
If you aren't sure, send me the email as an attachment (don't forward it or cut and paste) and I'll look into it.
