Little Headache Buddy

As many of you know,  my hubby is in a particularly bad cycle right now.

We have a little chihuahua named Spike (dad named him),   well ever since Spike was a baby,  (he'll be 4 next month)  he's seen his dad suffer with CH.

whenever Rick is having a headache,  spike goes and lays with him and keeps him company all through the headache.  he often brings his little "babies" (little suffed animals) over and lays them by rick during a headache.

tonite, Rick was having a particularly bad one and Spike was pawing his side with a little furrowed brow.  nothing seemed to be working,  so Spike went and got his favorite "baby"  a little suffed chihuahua that looks just like him and put it on top of Ricks back.  then he went and sat on the pillow and just kept vigil over the baby and dad.

it was soooo cute,  it brought tears to my eyes.

like me, he was doing everything he could to help.   without fail he always lays with dad durning a headache.  when i'm away,  i always know that Spike is there to be his little headach buddy.

That's pretty neat.   Smiley

Different story in our house.  The cats all run away and hide when I get hit.

Cats don't like anything weird.  I suspect that I smell weird, and I know that I act weird.  And so they practice the better part of valor.

Best wishes,

George

Ah! The foreigners put on such airs
Wearing the tangerine suits
And their harlequin eyes.
The pain they inspire
Draws in harmonica melodies
And the feathers of birds
Which flame up at their touch.
It all comes to light in the sheer
Debonair.
