Thanks everyone. I'm getting hit night and day and I know they're just preludes to the real FUN that will crescendo as we go down the road, but they hurt like hell, as you all know. By the time they're at their peak intensity, I will be a basket case. Damn - these things started early this year! I usually never get them until the end of Sept. On a good note, the O2 that hasn't been working lately DID work last night  Have my doc appt. next Friday and will get my referral back to my neuro. Wishing everyone on this site all the best and PFDANs - Jim R

It is the worst, use what you can, icepacks, off the shelf medications, aspirin, anything to try to help until the doc appointment. Too bad the O2 been uncooperative. Hang in, you have every right to vent, I'm quite the moaner when the meds are too late. Keep the O2 flowing and catch it early while awake. Waking with it in full progress melts the hair on my chest too. Best to you.

Hey Jim, just posted a message that sounded exactly like yours. Feel like I am whining, and think some of my family is hinting at that much. But how much can one person be expected to endure? I am so sorry for you, and I can symathize. We are truly some of the most unlucky (blanks) in the world, but like I said, hold on to that one tiny thread of hope that it will all be over in a few more weeks. My God that seems like eternity, huh? Just wanted to let you know I'm right there with you, and I truly, literally feel your pain.....
