Back to the drug grind...

Just came back from the doctor's and I'm back on 1200 mgs. daily lithium after a 6 month hiatus. He scripted me for Stadol again for the breakthroughs and gave me my referral back to my neuro for early Sept. Although lithium works, I hate the side-effects - the trembling hands, the spacey, zombie-like days, the food tasting and smelling like either a chemical soup or like onions...
Getting hit day and night (1 1/2 hours after falling asleep) and mostly they're at approx. a KIP 7-8, with the occasional 9, plus daily shadows. He kept me on my 240 mgs. verapamil, but he doubled the dosage of my blood pressure med., Diovan) They said I couldn't try the Amerge until my blood pressure is better controlled because the Amerge induced vessel constriction could push my BP up to dangerous levels...
What fun this all is  PFDANs to you all

I am right with you on this drug side effects shit uuuuuggggghhhhhhh, tired of taking drugs , I wonder how long this shit remain in my system after my cycle has ended and i have stopped popping these horse pills 3 times a day.
I hope the meds. work to ease the beast for ya annyway.
