| Didn't have TV until I was 3. Channel 4 came on at 4 PM and signed off at 11:30. 1949 wasn't necessarily the golden age of of......of anything for that matter. Neighbors used to have TV parties in the early 50s. As soon as someone got a set, everybody got together and got drunk watching Milton Berle. You had to be drunk to enjoy it. You played Pong when you were a kid? I'm so old, my badminton shuttlecocks had real feathers and gut strings. Charlie

I grew up thinking those little 13" black and white Tvs came with wire coat hanger antennas.
