Dreaming of a PF Christmas

This has particular significance for me this cycle as I have a 4 year old and an 18 month at home.  I've been in cycle since Thanksgiving after having been PF for over 2 years.

I tried Verapamil (120mg) for the first time Friday night.  Had very light attacks Friday night and only one very light attack last night.  After 4 weeks of 6 times per night attacks this is a huge step in the right direction.  I have no idea if it is the Verapamil, just the end of the cycle, or if the beast is just taking a break, but I'll take what I can get.  I just hope if it is a break...his break last until after Chrismas.

Wishing everyone a PF holiday.

Since verap takes a good two weeks to reach a therapudic level in your system I would probably say that it's the beast saying bye bye for right now.

Here's to a PF holiday for you.  Grin

dreams over for me Cry
after 3 glorious PF nights the beast returned.  evidently he must have gone home to get a sweater (it is 15 degrees F in KC today).  I was in total denial when he came back and didn't get on the O2 quick enough...it was a rough welcome back party.  I'm still hoping to kick his butt by Christmas.  My wife says I can not bring him into the new year with me (we've had a very rough year medically speaking).  Still fighting the fight.

I hope everyone else a PF holiday...or at least warm fuzzy time with loved ones in between attacks.
