Lizzie (Chronic Chic) Started her hosptial stay today to try to resolve some of her pain.
Anyone who wants to contact her can either PM her or myself for her phone number.
I am sure she will be glad to receive any words of encouragement offered.

Hi everyone,
Thanks so much for the messages! I can usually sign online for about a half hour once or twice a day. Just wanted to get mail and say HAPPY NEW YEAR!
The O2 continues to help at night. Unfortunately, blew all IVs today and hadn't gotten any IV meds until after a Picc line was put in and started up meds around 4:30pm. I had gotten an occipital nerve block shot, and that helped for awhile, but without the meds, my headache went back up to a 7 (for new daily persistent headache). However, last night I only had 2 ch attakcs because of help from meds and O2.
He asked me the intensity of the clusters when I get the, and I said with the O2 they were max about an 8 right now. He said that's the same as your daily headache! I said...nooo...they are kinda on like 2 different scales. Like extend the normal scale to 15, and mine are then gonna be somewere around 13-14 compared to that 8.
I'll probably have an MRI on Friday just to rule out any abnormality changes. Today I've really had to keep on top of everyone because I've almost gotten the wrong meds a lot of times, and it's been interesting! Think it might be getting more straightened out now! Ah well...nobody's perfect!

new daily persistent headache still at a 7, but the ch's are still down to about 2 a night. better for me
my doc was off today because of the holiday. more in store for tomorrow. had an MRI today, and i assume it was normal or i'd have heard by now! ok more later...take care! PF to all!
