Hi there and Merry CHristmas or Seasons Greetings to everyone...
lots of pics, so I'll go slow...
With a little bit of exploring on the trip from North Carolina to Maryland, I found this in the hills....
A life-size replica of Stonehenge... made of FOAM!!!
It's called Foamhenge.

We finally had to put the village out of reach... one of the young 'Vikings' decided plundering was good.
So much for the Starburst walkway to the house. all gone.
CHristmas Dinner was good though...
drool.
We also went Ice Skating...

let's see.
Brown a 5 pound pot roast in oil in a big pan...then add water (about 2 inches), onions, carrots, spuds (or do you call 'em taters?) yes even part of a rutabaga. wtf you ask? why the hell not?
When nobody's looking, add about a cup of red wine.
Don't tell you did it either.
Cover and bake in the oven at 300 for about 5 hours.
Remove from oven and let stand for a few minutes.
Stand around and drool.
Then slice the poor thing. Careful. It falls apart and it's F'ing hot.
Drool some more.
Add some black pepper.
Drool some more.
Serve it up!

That exact recipe is called Yankee Pot Roast.. Amazing that you left North Carolina, toured FoamHenge, then landed in Maryland for a north of the Mason-Dixon line smorgasboard. Another 50 miles north, and you could've been knee deep in shoo-fly pie.
