Wow, live and learn!
I went to the doc that broke my last cycle, she seemed so good then. Now she decided I have clusters and migraines! Shit, I never knew. This diagnosis process was unique, she knows some stuff.
I got migraines cause a cluster can't last more than an hour, (damn i never knew that)
It's a migraine cause the maxalt wouldn't have worked on it. (damn I wasted a lot of that high dollar stuff lately)
So in her elitist wisdom she gave me a whole 4mg medrol dose pak, a script for sonota (cause disrtupted sleep causes headaches), and a script for sinus medicine (although i told her my freaking sinuses ain't bothering me.
I wish she would have had her sorry ass in the truck with me trying to get home from the pharmacy!

Darndest thing I went in to talk with my family Dr. who has known me all these many years (25) to be exact, he was the one who discovered I had the CH years ago and on one of my last visits, I think to make me laugh or something he wrote on the check out paper migraines. I got out to the truck , looked at that and busted out laughing as I knew darn well what he really meant. Every time I think of that piece of paper it kinda makes me laugh. What a great Dr. he is. And I am laughing right now just thinking of that piece of paper.MrYL

Why did you even TOLERATE this kind of response. You're way smarter than that, and apparently the doc USED to be. Not that you needed to garrotte anybody, but gee whiz, you could of at least said "My mother won't let me eat that much balogna."

Damn, sorry about that Jimbo. What a waste of time and money. And this was the headache doc.
I just love it when they tell you what they want to hear. What they want to believe. If every health care professional could feel what we feel for 5 minutes, they would change their tune.

That Dr is a real POS. I've had my share. The ones that know everything and don't bother to listen for a second. Time to shop for a new one.
Although, don't blow her off until you get a new one lined up. I did that once. Needed an emergency trex override and was too embarrassed to call the doc that I expessed my less than glaring praise for... That is, if you think calling a doc a "COMPLETE MORON" while he's less than 1 ft away from you less than glaring praise. So I suffered and went to the ER, waited around until the hit was over to see the even less capable ER doc...
