Good for you! I stopped cold-turkey 8 years ago. The first 3 weeks was the worst, smooth sailing after that.

I"m getting real crabby though. My wife quit at the same time. She's crabbier than me.
Now I can't chain smoke to take my mind off of my screaming head when I get hit.

I quit last March. I have around 1/2 pack /mo. Oh almost forgot, and I chew 6-8 pieces of that nic gum a day. Costs more than smoking and i think it wears out my teeth and jaw...

What do smokers do when they are bored, in traffic, pissed off, waiting for a train, wating for a red light, finished with a good meal, relaxing, done having good sex?
I've got to find replacement activities for all of those situations and hope it works.
I figure that I'm saving at least 6 dollars a day right now. I'll keep adding that up and share the total with my wife when we are convinced that we 'Made It'.
