Continuing on with the conversation we just had in PM about your MIL Tina....maybe this would be a very good project for her to take on when she gets there. Keep her busy anyway. Linda

| I swear by simple green for many things.....never tried it for odors by FYI simple green is very very concentrated (or am I thinking of mean green) hmmm just remember it can be very very soapy so best if you do try it ... do it in the sink so ya don't make too many suds in the washer.

Have a New York city cab driver wear your uniform for about an hour and a half. The B.O. should kill the odor, then do the simple green treatment.

What a bummer! After all is said and done, I would definitly soak those babies in some bath and body works shower gel, just to get a fruity scent instead of simple green, vinegar smell. However, you really dont want to be smelling like flowers and fish at the same time either. blahhhh.. Poor woobs... Hang them outside too.. might be worth a shot.

Try one of the scent elimators used by hunters. They come in spray applicators and as detergents that are added to the wash. These should help. Best Wishes, Tom

Glad that it worked for you Sis... Now for future reference....to get out ball point pen ink, saturate the ink stain with rubbing alcohol and let soak a few minutes while brushing it with an "old" toothbrush, then rinse in cold water. Repeat until stain is removed. Hydrogen peroxide will also lift out blood stains as long as they are fresh and have not been set in by the heat of a dryer or hot water. Again, soak the stain and brush with a tooth brush and rinse in cold water. repeat until stain is gone.

Another handy point of reference for future use: the WD-40 website's list of 2000 uses for WD-40. http://www.wd40.com/pdfs/WD-40_2000UsesList.pdf There are many laundry applications. You'd be surprised what this stuff will do.

Whew! Glad you found that tip. I would have suggested getting a shallow pan, dousing in lighter fluid and striking a match to the lot. Glad you were able to save 'em
