Can you save them to your hard disk and then try importing them as rich text format (rtf) files?

Or maybe import them into Excel (if you have it) as .csv (comma delimited files).

You could try Open Office. I see it can open Lotus 123 files but nothing about Lutus word pro, so it might be a shot in the dark. If that fails ask them to send it as a .txt file, you can't go wrong there.

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.
