I still can't get over reading stuff from people that don't need to explain a thing about the beast. It's part of why I stay. It's unique and we owe you and.....and that uh other guy a lot.

I'm new here and i,m not sure what went on to cause that post but all I know is that in the short time I have been coming here here I have found so much compassion and support that it has really helped me through some tough times. I rate right up there at 10 on the kip scale and go into full blown panic attacks during my episodes and on the day of my first posts I was able to get great advice and support as to how to get through those panic attacks so I could use my oxygen correctly and try and rid myself of the thoughts of hurting myself. To anyone here who may be acting negative towards others or who is nitpicking that "I'm worse than you" there is no time for that. We all suffer through this and it all sucks. We need each other almost to the point of desperation and the slightest infighting just sends us backwards.Even if one person cant give words of advive than words of encouragement can go along way in making someone more comfortable in dealing with what the have. Just knowing you people are out there is like knowing I finnally have a shoulder to lean on and although I cant put a face to the words I will learn to love you guys like a best friend because I know you care. Anyway thats enough of the newbee spouting off. The beast is real but so is the compassion we have for each other so lets keep it that way. Merry christmas and happy holidays to everyone. Peace.

I sorta understand where you are coming from there is alotta agression here more than you find in the UK site. And sometimes it does get in the way but unless we are able to discuss important issues of the day then we are guilty of condoning these actions by our silence. Now I know sounds alittle hard but so many issues affect us and others in the world.

I, however know better than to vent on here anymore than I already have. I've come to realize that if you bare your heart to too many, there will be a few that will try to rip it out.
I've only stuck around because I do have some good friends here. I also have a few people who hate me. At this point in my life, I could give two shits in the wind less. I am a more compassionate person towards others after having been chronic so long, and try to help anyone I can.
I also try to make it a point to stay out of political and religious threads, because they always start some sort of argument that I could care less about. It's all moot to me. And if no one likes it, "try walking in my shoes..."
