hi my name is Bobby and i am new here i have had cluster head aches for about 12 years now and i am glad i have found a place where people know what i go through. i do have some questions so i will go find the right place to put them.

You'll soon get the hang of which board is which but in the meantime tell us a bit more about you and your experiences - what meds you've tried, what worked and didn't work etc and we'll see what we can suggest to help you.
Are you episodic or chronic?

thanks for the warm welcome let me try to answer some of the questions i have been asked.....I am episodic and i have never found anything to help untill a week ago, imitrex stat dose 6mg. i have been on all kinds of meds like steroids, blood pressure medication, and vicodin. as far as the names of the meds i am not sure, i have ate excedrin migrain like tic tacs and have even used that head on stuff [ i hate those commercials] but for the most part i have just fought the ch beast by my self.

Welcome to the club. I'm sad to see you here but glad you found us. You and I have a similar history. I'm just recently diagnosed after 12 years of fighting the beast. I too relied almost exclusively on excedrine migraine. Funny how we all seem to find our way to caffeine ; Anyway, welcome and don't stop reading and asking questions. There are a lot of helpful folks around here.
