Magican playing on a cruise

This magican signs to play a cruise.
The captian has a parrot who after a few days figure out this guys act and starts hecking him.
The parrot keeps after the magican
" its under his hat"
" it in his sleeve"
After a few nights the ship sinks and the magican wakes up on this long piece of wood with the parrot on the other end. For two days they both just sit there and stare at each other and finally the parrot says
"Ok I give where's the boat"
