Sure do wish I'd hurry up and learn how to do pictures.
The scene outside my living room window is absolutely beautiful.
We back onto a ravine and we are having a lot of snow fall right now so it's just to pretty out there.
Trust me, I won't be thinkin' it's too pretty tomorrow at 6:30 a.m. when I leave for work! 
Now where's that nice kid that shovels our driveway? Hmmmm - he must still be sleepin'

Well Carol, I guess we are going to have to get together soon and show you how to post a pic like these two! Here is what it was like about 10 minutes ago, just finished shoveling the driveway again, it has been everyday!

It's not that hard if you have a digital camera. *If* you have a digital camera, you are probably uploading them to your computer, correct? If so, all you need is a FREE account on Photobucket, Flick'r or any of the other hosting sites.
If you want to do something like that, just let me know and I can help you get set up.

Oh, forgot to mention, it was up to about 67 F yesterday and the sun was shining  . Mid 50's today dropping to mid 20's tonight, low 20's tomorrow night.

Mummers tradition dates back to 400 BC and the Roman Festival of Saturnalias where Latin laborers marched in masks throughout the day of satire and gift exchange. This included Celtic variations of "trick-or-treat" and Druidic noise-making to drive away demons for the new year. Reports of rowdy groups "parading" on New Years day in Philadelphia date back before the revolution. Prizes were offered by merchants in the late 1800's. January 1, 1901 was the first "official" parade offered about $1,725 in prize money from the city.
