Last week I bought a ticket for a St Jude's fund raiser. They were giving a Articat(I think that's the brand) 4-wheeler (about a 10K one - someone said it was a little more than a reg. 4-wheeler).
Anyhow I kept telling everyone I was gonna win and last night - they called and I WON!!!
Tomorrow I've got to go get my new RED play-pretty. Can hardly wait to see it....

It's the Artic Cat Prowler 650 4X4 and it's a doozey.... Red with gray bucket seats..... Gosh, I'm gonna be a real UPTOWN farmer tomorrow.
And yep, they've already told me about the taxes..., but even that's a drop in the bucket for this thing. A $20 ticket and taxes -- not a bad deal....
My son's reaction: "HOLY S*&^^% MOM!!!!!!!" He's called me three times today... wonder what he wants? 
My little Caleb has four more days of school before I go get him and he told me he'd learned about all he needed this year and I really needed to come get him today so he could "teach" me to drive Josephine (yep I've already named her). That was MORE important than him going back to school this week. Got a feeling he's not going to get good marks in conduct this week.
But the more I think about it the more excited I'm getting. Is tomorrow here yet?

Well, Josephine is home now (picked her up yesterday). She's a real beauty (just like the picture Kevin posted).
Caleb made his parents bring him up last night for Granny's first driving lesson and we done good. Went to the mail box. He kept telling me "Go faster Granny - go faster!" Then his dad took him down in the bottom and showed him how to get stuck and how the 4X4 worked.
My little Jack Russel Terrorist (Roscoe) got in it with me when we first got it home and after a few minutes of riding decided he didn't like my driving, but before he got out he "baptised" her! The other dogs decided to wait until after Caleb teaches me to drive before they ride with me.
So now Josephine and I will probably be out checking property lines and hauling hay etc.... Oh yeah - Caleb and (my friend) James did go up on top of the hill and Caleb found some tea roses and picked them for Granny (I thought that was nice - didn't even know we had any up there - think that's another project - we're gonna go dig some up and plant them around the house).
Ya'll come see me and I'll take you for a ride...
