hey guys, just wanted to share this with you all!!

Andy has had one of Ben's masks for a while, but didn't think it was for him!!!

i eventually persuaded (nagged Wink Grin) him to try it again with the mouth piece!!

he did so on Saturday and aborted 5 attacks successfully with them, and in half the time of the "standard" masks!!!

i am so glad that he gave it another go, and hopefully it will continue to help him

cheers

this is important to note for those who have tried oxygen in the past with spotty success. ClusterMasx "ain't your momma's oxygen mask". The O2 delivery with the ClusterMasx is worth reconsideration of O2 for you folks.

...to me he did say he ws going to be able to fill, "some" orders.  You should probably check with Ben at Clustermask if you have an order pending or have yet to order.

Sorry

Please explain the Clustermasx. I am one of those that had variable success with O2. I am interested in finding other options.
Thanks

The Clustermasx is an IMPROVED Non-Rebreather Mask, nothing more yet Everything more.  All NRB's share 3 things: a bag, a diaphragm flow connector, and a face mask. The size of the bag is variable, and up to end user discretion. The diaphragm flow valve (or Tee Valve #1953 on the Cmasx), is constructed with better diaphragms, not the flimsy things found in a $2 NRB mask. The actual face mask is an EMT style resuscitation mask. It has an air filled reservoir that allows for form fitting to the face, no leakage.
Technique is everything with O2 therapy. When used properly, the Clustermasx eliminates many of the end user errors that cause failure of O2 therapy.
Currently unavailable in the UK. Some assembly required.

Clustermasx. Get on the list.
RJ

Amend: To date, the Cmasx is not an approved, certified NHS/FDA approved product. That's coming shortly. It's still under Rube Goldberg classification. Till then, it's an idea from a CHead that wanted to make a difference, and help fellow CHeads huff O2 with positive results. There is no corporation, no profit seeking margins, no underlying agendas........just a really good idea by one man that gave a damn. I had the same idea several years ago, but apparently, old Benji Boy is a whole fucking lot smarter than me.
Oi......

Received my mask

I finally received my mask and I have one question about the mouth piece.  I am assuming at this point that while using the mouth piece, you place it in your mouth during inhalation and remove for exhalation.  The face mask is not used.  Correct?

Sorry, a little confused looking at it.  If the mouthpiece is so effective, then why both?

Is this a hijack?  Sorry.

You have chosen..........Well.
Personally, I don't get the mouthpiece thing......the mask was impressive enough, unless one's face was no longer bilaterally symmetrical due to genetic defect, accident, or psychosis. Claustrophobia factor not included.
The mouthpiece will work, but put a clothes pin on your nose, because you're going to cheat.

100% O2, all the time.

I use the mouthpiece because my nose is in a ton of pain when I'm getting hit.  I also don't need to remove the mouthpiece on exhalation because I can breathe out right through the mouthpiece due to the rubber thingy preventing outside air getting in when I inhale again.

...on Jan 28th, and I received it on February 6th.  I live in Tucson, AZ.  I know a fellow sufferer that lives in the NE whose mask was shipped on the same day that received his on the 2nd.

Good luck with yours!

BIG BUMP!

I'm smiling here...just used my clustermasx and one of Mr. Happy's supercharged regs for the very first time.  I had the beast marching out the door in 6 minutes flat.  I still can hardly believe it.  Huge thanks to Ben and Randy.

I have only had shadows since I received my clustermask (CM) since miy cycle was wrapping up at that time.  The good news is that the CM has knocked down ALL of my shadows within 15 minutes.  Prior to receiving the CM, using O2 and my old rebreather mask on the shadows was a crap shoot at best.

I am almost looking forward to my next cycle to try it out on the big boys.  NOT! Grin
