My Neuro said that it acted like Verapamil, only it affected the cerebral arteries more, and not the arteries in the rest of the body.  At higher doses of Verapamil (600) I am finding relief from the clusters, but I am having really low blood pressure (70/50) and heart palpatations.  So we're going to try the Nimotop, with a lowered dose of Verapamil, and see how it works.  He has had one guy on it for 10 years.  It's very expensive Shocked, though, and I'm really damn lucky that my insurance is going to pay for it.
