oxygen concentrator - night time episodes

My Mother-In-Law recently passed away from lung cancer, and she had an O2 concentrator.  I think I may try it.  I use O2 from my E tank with great success already, but I have most of my episodes when I am sleeping.  They wake me up.  My husband suggested that I try her O2 concentrator for a couple of nights to see if it helps when I am in cycle.
Anybody here tried anything like this?

There has been some talk here about using those...no personal experience from me.  If nothing else, try using search...I know it was discussed.  Fairly recently...

Violet, I've been using one for over two years with very good results. You must get right to it, or it won't help. After 18 years of being chronic I wake very early to night time attack. Many here will tell you this is just impossible, all I can say is that I have saved a  lot of money vs. tanks. I use an Invacare 5 (5 lpm ) machine.

Edit, when you are in a cycle start the machine as you retire. It takes about 5 min. for the machine to get up to speed.

I'm expecting a delivery of a 10 lpm concentrator today.  I hope the delivery comes through,  my tanks are just about empty.
