Imitrex stops my headaches, but I found that magnesium has prevented my headaches.  I added about 400mg to my diet that is high in vegetables and dark leafy vegies anyway.  I can only surmise that a sinus infection I had that required antibiotics may have brought me below a threshhold for magnesium and triggered my headaches.  Anyway, it has been one full week without cluster headaches. Smiley

chyuck--may I ask where you get your magnesium?  I wonder if there is a difference between GNC and the local supermarket brand . . . .

Just make sure that you don't buy it from a chemical supply store and drink it down with water.

I use something called Natural CALM Magnesium--It's a powder and easily absorbable.  You can search the internet and easily find it. Wink
