any tried putting hot peppers up their nose. ...ugh i mean capsaicin.. neuro is big on it. couldn't tell me how much it would hurt or for how long. think he might not know what he's talking about. it is over the counter

I tried it for some of the first headaches of a cycle once, and it seemed to abort the attacks. Yeah it burns like a mofo when you put it up your nose, but of course it's an absolute picnic compared to the demon.
It only worked for maybe the first 3 or 4 headaches of that cycle. I'm now finding breathing cold air to be more effective, actually.

I have tried putting red hot and tabasco under my tongue...didn't work. I tried drinking whole bottles of the shit...didn't work. I tried hot pepper cream in my nose, on my head, on my neck, in my eye...didn't work, although it did burn like hell. I tried taking the hot pepper pills...didn't work. It did however, make me feel as though I was doing SOMETHING. I was somehow fighting the beast, whether it worked or not, it made me feel better in some esoteric sort of way. This is just my own personal experience however, and yours may be very different...the nature of the beast. Let us know if you try it and how it works for you.
