Well guys..........I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but.......................Elaine had to go to the ER early this morning. She has had a bad headache for several days, (not a CH) and took just about everything possible to rid herself of the ha. However, when she got to the ER, she found out that she has pneumonia, and pleurisy (sp??.
She will be under the doctors care till next Thursday or Friday. So...............looks like she won't be able to make it to Davenport. 
I did speak to her earlier, and the headache has subsided a bit, but she is to stay in the bed for a day or two. Doc did give her some antibiotics, so hopefully she will feel better in a few days.
Just wanted to let you know.........

Thanks Woobie but it ain't going to happen. It's not the money. Hell, I have plenty of that. I never get a day off to spend any. There is no way I can get off work.
I would like to visit Iowa again. A few years ago we went to a military reunion in St. Ansgar, Iowa. Wow! What a place. You could see clear across the state if you stood on your toes on the railroad tracks.
And just up the road was a little town, I think it's called ZipDripandTingle or something like that, that had a Spam museum. That's Spam as in canned meat, not the web spam crap. The Spam museum is in a shopping center just off the freeway coming down from Minn. Those Hormell Bros are something else. That was the highlite of our trip to Iowa.
I really would like to go to Davenport just to find out why the people in Wisconsin call couches Davenports.
Just can't do it this month.

Yeah, I got vacation...32 days this year and 20 left over from last year. Also got sick days...a little over 500 days. Been well and saving the days to be paid in cash when I retire. Let's see 500+ days X $$$ = Eat-your-heart-out-Trump.
I told my manager I have clusterheadaches. He said
"Really, I had one of those once".
I almost lost my job and all the sick days I'd saved.

Dam.......we can't make it either and I am bumm'd !!! Jus got Brad into the docs the other day and he has that stuff Elaine has....doc said it was good he came in the day he did cuz he would of dropped fast "soon" if he hadn't started strong antibiotics rite then and there. He's on mega doses rite now and other stuff ......he spent part of New Years eve at our freinds party asleep on there bar.....and....not cuz he was drunk either. Antibiotics kicked his butt aand he'd jus started takein em too.....plus he's been so tired out anyhow for a while. Had that strange headache deal too. You guys are gonna have SO much fuckin fun I am jealous......ha-ha....tip one for us ok.....well maybe a case !!! Miller Lite please Pam
