I don't just want to go to this, I NEED to go to this. I need to be around somebody who understands some of the shit I deal with for awhile.
My problem, like the conventions, is I can't swing it financially. I am on a fixed income, don't have a car anymore, and can't even afford to get my guitar and other gear out of pawn that has been there for over a year now. 
Brainstorming here....might try to put some of my compact discs on Ebay and see if I can fetch a fair price for them.
If you guys meet me though, be forewarned. I can get VERY hyper sometimes. If you have drugs you might need to do them to handle me. If I have drugs though, I'll share

Have you thought about inviting a reporter from a local newspaper or TV station. They all have "health" reporters. Maybe one could just sit in on the conversations for a hour or two. A small blip in the paper is better than no blip at all.

I most likely will not get a room inless you need me to because you dont have enough resirvations. If you do have enough I just hang around and drive the 5 blocks home. Have to tell everyone dont try to out drink me. You will lose big time oz. for oz.. Opps forgot to tell you all I dont drink alcohol ( cause of all the pain meds I am on) I drink water or juice mostly.
