I know it's only 9:00am central time Saturday morning and not too many want their picture taken just yet today, but can anybody's eyes focus a camera?  I'm already sorry I'm not there.

Sad

I didn't make it to say goodbye to anyone this morning but know you are all in my heart and i'm hoping all arrive home safely and pain free!

What an experience!  In the past 5 days I have met my first clusterbuddy in person, saw other members of my ch family suffer (which I had never been on the side as a supporter prior to this weekend), learned how to be a supporter and have found SO many people full of love, compassion, hugs and understanding.

I miss y'all already!

Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry..........

With that said.....

Let's start planning on the next family gathering!  Some of us are only a few hours apart.  Let's try and get together prior to Nashville!   Cheesy

Many of you I did not get phone numbers from.  If you will, please p.m. me your #'s.

Until next time...see ya on the boards and in my heart!

Hey kids, I got home safe and sound (you could have turned off the water works, but we made it anyhow). Dropped Donna off in Athens  where her kids and Dennis were waiting. Dennis looked TIRED - two days with a 2 and 3 year old will do it.

Got my jammies on now and am planning on taking a nap - hopefully till in the morning.

And I don't do GOODBYES worth a damn!! Almost cried when I said bye to DJ and his Mom. And Steve and Cat and Tracey. Renee, if you'd been there - I'd probably have gotten something in my eye and it would have watered all the way home.

Had a note waiting from Rick when I got home - made me all warm and fuzzy..

Ok, I'm tired and about to get sentimental --- C ya'll tomorrow. Right now I'm going to get some REST!!!!! You guys kept me up WAAAY to late last night and the night before..... I'm OLD you know....

Hugs

BD,

I claimed the weather kept me home.

I knew what would happen had it not been storming and I'd shown up.  I'd been bubbling tears the rest of the day and confiscating car keys to keep y'all off the roads.  I don't do goodbyes very well to begin with and, after meeting all of you this weekend, goodbye would have been too hard.  SO....I won't say goodbye but rather SEE YA SOON!!!

Glad ya made it home safely and I took a 3 hour nap today myself.  I even slept right thru the hockey game!!!

I hope you all have a pf nap/night and get some rest.

I MISS Y'ALL!!!   Cry

Would you all just quit that crying?  Haven't you figured it out yet....?

This is NOT goodbye....it is one great big, life changing, everlasting impression making, Howdy Y'all!!!!!

OK...here's my thought!  I say we get T.O.U.C.H. together again in April and help OUCH sponsor an easter egg hunt at a children's hospital or neurology center!  We could solicit contributions on something like that couldn't we?  And I cannot think of a better way to help OUCH gain positive media exposure and educate a few people along the way!  What do you think?

After all....clusterheads are a little like Humpty Dumpty--all the kings horses and all the king men....well, you know the rest!

Kids get clusters too don't they?

C,mon gang!  Dry those tears!!  Just start planning next time!!

(pssssstttt!  can you tell I had fun?)   Grin

My love to you all, but especially my roomie!!  Barbara, I will drive you anywhere you want to go, anytime!!  :I don't think I have had that much fun since the slumber parties I went to as a teenager!!  Dennis says you must be one really special lady (you know what--I do believe he is right!!  Wink !!

I couldn't have had a better time anywhere else in this world than being with all of you this weekend. I met so many new and wonderful friends and for this I am truly grateful.

Love to All,

Donna D.

BTW....Jean, Jackie and Elaine....you three can decide who gets to keep Justin first...You can bring him back AFTER the terrible twos!!   He sure did take on over you ladies!!

It was a great Meet and Greet. I just loved seeing my old friends again and making new ones.
Reena Thank you for such a lovely time. Rick I am sorry I did not get to visit with you much. I was able to visit with your wife and I sure enjoyed her. Thank you two for the food you provided for the group.

The best part of the trip for me was finally getting to Hug Linda ,DJs mom. I talked to her on the phone  a few times and emailed with her. I had never met her. It was very special for me. The love between her and her son is so wonderful, when those two are in the room together you can feel it.

I miss the rest of you already. I slept all night last nigh so I am caught up on my sleep but have a full week of stuff to do.

Had a great time hope to see all of you guys in Nashville !

I am still bumming from the goodbyes.....even though I've talked to a lot of you on the phone.  Since I'm still stuck here in Dallas......anyone want to drive back?????   Wink  My family has been telling me that I'm just full of BS.....no one can have that much fun meeting new and old friends again (they also told me I had to put up the picture CD, they were tired of me showing them the pics).

By this time, I should be used to meeting the wonderful people off this board, but for some reason...it still amazes me.  I'm so excited about TOUCH.....that's going to give us a damn good reason to stay in close touch (no pun intended).... Smiley

Donna D....you and your family are great.  Tell Dennis thank you, and give those kids a big hug (and I want to steal your hair.... Wink)   Renee...you and Amy just rock.  You've got a partner for the next Stars game....whether you want it or not....LOL.  Renny, I'm sorry that the phone calls took me away when you showed up, hopefully we'll have more time at the next one...which won't be long.  Rick and Debby....I think I'm going to move in with ya'll....LOL.  Thank you for the food, and for helping put this together with Renee.  Don....you are a special, wonderful man, of course...you're married to a special, wonderful woman too.  Thank you so much for helping me.  Steve and Martha....I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed you two.  That Martha is a hoot, and a beautiful lady.

For my friends that I got to see again....I love you, and I miss you.  Nashville is too long to wait.

And remember...the first big TOUCH party is a barn party at my place.

Hey Tracey,

A barn party sounds great!

However, I uh (cough) assume this will take place sometime AFTER your appointment with the cardiologist.....right???     Huh

My hubby thanks you for the compliment.  He had a great time!  Don is a wonderful compassionate man.  He really needed this visit with you guys.  I have talked so damn much about Jackie, Blake, Elaine, Cat, Tracey, Renee, Amy and BarbD.  Aw shit.....and Thomas, Norm, Jim & Sue, SteveG, Edna, Randy, Tina, Ramon, your kids, your pets, your likes, dislikes, and all that other shit. LMFAO

Let me know, gf, when that appointment is!.......don't make me drive up there and hog tie ya!

You know I love you??  right???

Roxy,

We have home games this Wed., Fri. and Sunday.

When are you headed home?

Barn party?  Where, when and what kind of shavings do you use in your barn?  I have to stay away from cedar and fresh pine shavings.  Once you get the pine shavings stirred up with some horse turds and a lil ammonia then I'm just fine and feelin' right at home.  I pick my pine bedded stalls but stay away when fresh shavings are put down until the air has a chance to blow some of the dust away.

If I feel on Wednesday like I do today, then you can have all 4 tickets but hopefully this head will either burst or stop hurting before then...if not,,,put me in an asylum!!

I miss y'all!!    Cry
