Okay you western staters and especially you Californians. The meet and greet is on for San Diego. Those of you who have been to one will come back because.....you know. Those who haven't been........
1: It's not like an AA meeting.
2: It's not like a religous revival
3: It's not an Amway meeting

(As a clarifier I have nothing against any of the above! Roll Eyes  Wink
It's a chance to sit by the pool and hang out with a bunch of people who honest to goodness understand you.

We will be arriving January 5th, Friday, checking out Sunday, January 7th. The hotel is accross the street from Old Town State Park, 2 miles from the Zoo, 5 miles from Sea World and 2 miles from the airport.

Go to www.padretrailinn.com for info on the hotel. The rate for us is $89.00 a night. To make reservations call 1-800-255-9988, tell them you are with OUCH to get the $89.00 rate. Any questions please IM or e-mail me at Jsprecco@cox.net

Does that mean that we might get a group to go to Seaworld or zoo?  That would be soo cool.

This is from the suicide thread, and I wanted you all to know why I want us to come. Yes it is for me but my main reason is for my husband...

We dearly would love to be able to feel that pain, to share it with you, to even take it all away for you .. but alas, where you go we cant follow .. we can only stay back here, cry our silent tears, bear our silent pain and try to hold fort until you come back ...

This statement right here is why I want my husband and I to come to San Diego in Jan. I want him to meet wither supporters and realize that he is not alone either.  That if he needs it he can use this site for support and understanding the same way I do.

Very nice, "T".
And if you want to live in the middle of a friggin desert with an almost empty lake that is used to supply precious Los Angeles, then I will not try to sway you!. Heck, if you like burning the shit out of your hands just trying to buckle your seat belt or have your hands fused to your steering wheel when you drive out of a parking lot, you go girl. lol..........I would never give YOU shit! I know I miss walking the strip on warm summers evening getting bombarded with little flyers for hookers and massage therapists with my sweet daughter, no "T", I would never give you shit........But I will.....BUUUUWWWAAAAHHHHHHAAAAHHHHAAA.

I just called the motel and made reservations. Renon and I will be checking in on Thursday afternoon and out on Monday morning.
$89???? I talked to a guy name of Dennis. He made the reservation (2 adults, king) for Thursday and Sunday nights @ $69. Friday and Saturday nights @ $79. I didn't want to mention the word OUCH, afraid the price would go up.
