Help Break light problems updated

This is the strangest thing we can not get the break lights to go off on the truck. Anyone have any ideas, we have changed the fuses, we have checked to make sure the breaks are off.
Its a 1999 ford F150

Replace the switch on the brake pedal arm. That should fix it.

Should be between 10 and 30 dollars depending on where you get it. Replacing it isn't that hard to do.

Well Thank you Jonny ! I knew if we left it on all night I would have a dead battery. We have spent so much more money on the porch than we wanted to, I am glad to hear I can keep my parts Wink

Wait till you see the work my brother and I did on
our porch. We lowered the ceiling today. I am putting the pictures up after we are finished. We been working from 7:30 am till 2pm Monday through Friday. My brother can't help on week ends. I still paint on the week ends. I have more fun doing stuff like that then cleaning the house LOL. Plus I am enjoying time with my brother.

Ya'll were right but turned out more to it. When I bought my camper they
put in trailer breaks. They wired them wrong, that burned up the switch.
so he unhooked the trailer break and put in a new switch. $94 now next week they will rewire the breaks. I will have to leave it over night. I was afraid to ask what that will cost, there goes my breast ! Roll Eyes
