Hot as the sun,
Sharp as a razor.
Digs in fast,
Fast as a laser.

Skin not damaged,
Left unharmed.
Weak and weary,
No scars to show.

Others I meet,
Beauty they show.
Believe what they say,
Believe what you know.

Gentle and strong,
Tortured and solemn.
Gather they do,
As one they are stronger.

A hug is like gold,
Rich are we all.
A tear is a diamond,
They share with a stranger.

As the time ends,
More tears and hugs given.
Strangers now friends,
My life is worth living.
