1979 CH.com Newbie Offline I Love CH.com! Posts: 2	How high a dose can I go with Verapamil? Jul 30^th, 2008 at 11:52pm Tried the old standby of verapamil, up to 720 a day but no relief. Suffering terribly right now, Imitrex is not working either as an abortive. Help, this is a 10 +++++ and in the past by the time I hit 720 mg the CH would be gone, but not this time. Hurting bad in DC

Reply #2 - Jul 31^st, 2008 at 4:54am I've heard of doses going as high as 1200mg per day. Of course you should check how low your pulse drops. With high doses regular ECG-checks are also a good idea. I didn't do very well with Verapamil personally, I got brachycardia at a dose of 480mg per day. - Rosa
