My new (Pre-owned) truck
Oct 1st, 2008 at 4:59pm

I called my guy and told him to start the paper work on this truck. I will never buy new again, I bought two new trucks in 1998 and lost thousands just driving them off the lot.

Very nice jonny!  I bet that truck will get the same mileage empty or loaded down.  Big and Powerful - Sweet!  Standard pipes or alittle throaty?

Have you ever stripped the paint off one of your old ones and made it a "shiny" truck?

Looks good Jonny.  You made a smart move there.  I bought mine two yrs old with 85,000 miles on it for half the original price.  I've got 532,000 and change on it now.  Wish I had known you were looking.  I'd have made you a deal! Grin  It's still going great.  Just don't need it now that I'm off the road.

NICE it looks just like mine except mine is a 1500 with a 5.7l,  I get 18+mpg.  Its alot better than my old 97 dodge ram that got less than 10.
You should be very happy with it and good move on changing from a Ford to a GMC. Cool  Phil

Thanks, Ray (and all of you) .....But this thing is even higher than my one ton, and seeing that my partners have ten or more years on me in age I will have to be the monkey to climb the racks to get the rails off.

Ever see a 46 year old monkey?....not a pretty sight....LOL  Grin

ya just have to do your homework...
Love,

Sweet ride.  Throw a dog and a bail of hay in the back, and you've got an Idaho truck.

Yeah, we always buy used too.  I'm allergic to car payments.

Best,

George

Nice truck Jonny. I'm with you I never like to buy new. Although I did buy a new cargo van cause I had such a hard time finding one that wasn't beat to shit and for the price it was not worth it so I just bought it new. Good luck
