I just got off a 9+ demon... and while my head still aches at a 2-3 my body is buzzing kind of like a good narcotic would do. I've noticed it before, but only after the major bombs. It is just the natural endorphin release  and does any one else get this feeling.

I think we all have experienced the euphoria of the "pain drain" after a particularly hard dance with the beast.

Yes....I know I have.

It is a great feeling but doesn't last too long due to complete exhaustion.
One more for "the brightside of clusterheadache" list.

Jon gets the "pain drain" high too, after bad ones. But it never lasts long & then he's completey exhausted.

I can relate to the exhaustion part of the thing when it subsides, but to me the aftermath always feels more as if I've been poisoned than anything else.   Tongue

Perhaps it's just me.

Best,

George

Nope, it's not just you...I definately don't feel good after having one, I usually just feel sick and worn out...

As far as I'm concerned, cluster busting has been the best treatment I've tried. No migraines since I started it, and my hits have gotten so much better. Wanna know more?
