A ute in Oz is what you would call a truck, this pic is very close to the one I drive (a Toyota Hilux 3 litre turbo 4X4)but mine is fully fitted for remote travel with bull bar, 9000 lb recovery winch, satelite phone, VHF radio, 2 eperbs, 3 spare wheels,150 litre long range fuel tank, sump & transmission protection plating.
I work in very remote locations in my job hence the need for all the gear.

I think I got aroused reading about your ute.
I've got a Ford F350 turbo diesel 4by4,,,dont need a winch Wink If it gets that bad I'm staying home.
