I am going to group these two ladies together.
Cyndi (cynjeep89) and Carol (Grandma-Sweet-Boy)

You were both there right from the beginning for me, and that was when our friendship was born.  Smiley Smiley

Jonny who was also there to greet and welcome me to the site. We became friends quickly, and gave me lot's of laughs and great advice, thanks bro! Cool

Drew37, Damn I must call you soon. You live like a mile from me and I see you more on line than in person, and that is wrong. Biking season is over so we will get together very soon buddy. Wink

One current person that comes to mind is Aussie B.  His posts are both humorous and thoughtful.  Delightful to read.  Nice sense of humor when needed and a true supporter of those in need.  Besides, he likes Vegamite!

A person that I miss is Dave Greenly A.K.A. Drummer.  He was the very first cluster heat I ever spoke with and his self deprecating sense of humor had many people holding their laugh glands because they hurt.  Talking to him for the first time on the phone was like talking to a life long friend who I had never met.

I miss Riccardo.

We all called him our "Italian Stallion"  Even with the language barrier almost everything he said was funny or thought-provoking.  Like the time he asked a prominent neurologist at the convention "why is it that clusterheads are more sexual than the general population"   I thought the good Dr. was gonna choke.

At that same convention in Vancouver we had a cluster golf tournament and were divided up in groups of 4.  Riccardo and his Italian friends were the last to come in while the rest of us sat watching them on the last hole.  Riccardo had never before played golf..but he sure had some power in his swing and lobbed one clear into a group of men at the driving range almost hitting them.

BobP was forced to run over to them and apologize profusely and explain the situation.  Riccardo didn't know to yell FORE.

I know he got remarried and I think he moved to Russia of all places, but I sure wish he'd check in with us once and a while.   Undecided

I miss Riccardo also... I remember one day I was in bad shape and stayed home from work. apparently I posted that I was home. I got this call from ITALY from Ricky wanting to know "how are you" - at least that's what I think he was asking. Smiley  all I really understood was, "I love you." and "Garlic kisses to you!"

But most of all I miss Kip and Judy. Seems when I was the most down in the dumps, I'd get a call from them and before we got off the phone, I'd be "up" again. The last time we talked (a few weeks before their deaths) we were making plans to spend part of our kids inheritances (an old joke with us).

And of course Jayne... who can keep up with that wit of hers? Anyone who would sleep in the bathtub and stick her toe in the faucet to keep the water from dripping and THEN tell it the next morning..... ya just gotta love her... Kiss

too many to name.....

Hugs BD

Today I want to talk about a few more people I adore:

Marc, I love this guy and his beautiful pictures. I was able to buy one of his pictures at the NY convention. I love it. I have always enjoyed his post. I never thought I would ever get to meet this man.
He had some work to do in a town below where we live. He drove to see my family and I. We enjoyed his visit very much. I love his humor, his heart and his wisdom. I hope to hug his neck again someday.

Jimi and Ruth. A couple that is so truly in love...you can read that love on their face the way they look at each other. Their body language. You just feel it when you are around them. They are all about family and friends. Both are very level headed, very caring. Not enough can be said about these two.
Jimi has been one of my best supporters, he stood by me when the world was against me. He always had a kind word. I love his emails. He can send some of the funniest things. When something is wrong, he will send a email with inspiration. It is just what I need. I couldn't do with out Jimi and Ruth. I admire them, I envy them. My family and I are very honored they are in our life.

Hellen and Paul. Hellen is someone you fell in love with right off. She is like a magnet your are just drawn to her. I look for her post and Paul's. I know they will make me smile. Hellen and I didn't get to meet till we went to the convention in Richmond VA but she was so busy and people were all around her, I never got to sit down and speck to her the way I wanted to. In TX we were able to spend some time together. I loved every second of talking to her. I was able to get to know Paul better. The look in their eyes is true love. She has been through a lot in her life and she is always able to rise above her troubles and make us smile. She has made me want to be a better person. She inspires me every day. This couple will go far in Life, I am so glad they are my friends. I hope to some day attend their wedding !

Nancy C now I miss her, she always had some very wonderful input here. She loved getting together with us cluster heads. She has been though a lot of pain in her life and she rose above it.
She is a sweet friend, I miss her post. My husband misses her and her dog (Her dog and my husband had a relationship it was funny ). I miss her. I did speak with her this last week and she is doing fine. Still working and still doing for that grand child of hers. She is so missed. Maybe she will be back soon I hope so.

Posting tonight for tomorrow, I have plans and might not make it on line till Saturday.

Svenn, he has always been here for each and everyone of us. When times are bad you bet your phone will ring or you will get a email from him with all the support he can give. He has been a fighter for us all in his fight for clusters and like right now, he has been going through hell, we should all take a lesson in what can happen to us if we are not careful in the meds we take. Svenn is to be admired.

Cluster Chuck, cluster chuck is a crazy guy, that loves to make people laugh. No matter where you go if he is there he is going to make you laugh. His serious side is just as good. I remember a lot of support and nice things this man has said and done for me. I am glad he is my friend.

Donna D a sweet lady that busted her butt for us all. She has been a warm and big hearted friend to me and my family. I love her and miss her.

Peppermint is just like her name sweet, a great supporter for us all, a true friend always ready to help. This lady worked her buns off for us also in the work she did for OUCH. ! I don't know what I would do without her friendship.

M.R. Oh now I love to talk to this man. I haven't seen him post in awhile, maybe I have missed it if he has. I miss him and reading his post. Where are you my friend?

Flipperlips, this is a new lady I don't really know her, but I love her post and feel I do know her. I am looking forward to meeting her someday. I believe there is a new friend to be made there.

Jean French Now this lady is a load of fun. She drifts in and out, but at least when I cath up with her we have a lot to talk about. The lady is so cool. I love our get togethers. This lady can stay up all night long she really knows how to party. She has been a wonderful friend. I miss her post and laughter.

Carol now she is my email Buddy, I have always enjoyed her post and advice. She is so sweet . I look for her post and a email from her. She is one I don't think I could live without, she brightens my days.

Joe, now here is a guy I don't email a lot with him but I search for his post. He has taught me a lot about life in general. I just think he is great, you better believe he is in my book of friends.

Charlie...Now Charlie is a sweet heart, I love his post even though most are short. He has a big heart, and a sweet smile. He even has captured my grandsons heart with pictures of his neighbor hood with snow every where. He sent him some old post cards that he treasures. Charlie wins the heart of many here. He likes to be called mean old Charlie, but I just don't believe the man has a mean bone in his body.

Tim Rambow Now here  is another that has captured my grandsons heart, he sends lots of post card.
JD thinks Tim is really special. I do also. I enjoy hearing for Tim and look forward to the cards also.
Tim is a real sweet guy.

Barbara D, when I came here she had the title Mom, cause she kept everyone in line. Barbara was one of the first people I met in N.Y. I won't never forget her touching me during a cluster attack. She realized what she was doing and was scared I was going to hit her. Barbara has been a good friend through the years. Oh we have knocked heads a few times in O.U.C.H. But that did not effect our friendship. That what makes Barbara a good friend. She is that to many here she will always be Mom of ch.com

Eric, I have only had the pleasure of meeting him one time. I was a a OUCH convention and sitting at the bar, just chilling. Eric joined me and we got to talking. Boy that man loves his family he talked a lot about them, that impressed me. I didn't realize I drink so much till I got off the bar stool. We joined the others by the pool. Eric had me laughing so hard. We have a private joke between us about Captain Kangaroo. That joke was so funny I knew I was drunk and had to leave and go to my room. Shame on you Eric. I look for his post and love the level headed post he does. His post are what I enjoyed so much and what made me want to talk to him. I am glad to say he is my friend.

Todd V  This guy is no longer on ch.com and I no longer hear from him. I can honestly say he saved my life. He was there when life was really dark. He made me look hard at myself and see what I wanted in life. He pushed me till I did what was right. For that I will always be grateful. I am glad he was my friend.

OK....my turn  Smiley

I miss MOB,  my English friend. We were buddies way back when.  MOB was always a great source of information and a fun fellow too.  We spent hours visiting, back in the day, when so many people hung out in Elaine's HSG chat.  MOB was a good sport.  When I named him "MOBster" he didn't mind at all.  Yes,  I really miss him... Cry

Now, for Mr. Bob Johnson.  He's a great source of information and support.  If you need a link, data or articles on CH or any other medical condition, Bob is the man.  Thank you Bob for the wealth of information you are always so ready and able to provide.  You're invaluable to us.

Much Love,
Jackie

My Dear Friend Jackie, Jackie taught me a lot about who I want to be. She has supported me and my family over the last nine years. She knows what friendship really is. What I like most is with Jackie, she is a friend that doesn't Judge. She likes you for who you are. Now if anyone could black mail me Jackie could.   I needed to cry she was there for me. I remember breaking down at her mothers kitchen table over the lost of my grandchild. Jackie just held me. Jackie was with me through the birth of JD through my fears when Deveny had him, Deveny had a hard time giving birth to him.. She was with me when my 2nd grandchild died. She sure was with me when my dad died. When my son in law was killed in Iraq, and when we needed to get his ashes to his Mom, she drove a hour to meet my daughter, pick up his ashes take them home with her and keep them all week end. Then she had her day at work interrupted  by  his army Buddies who picked him up and delivered him to his Mom and Dad. Jackie helped me get meds for JD when I didn't have the money. Jackie not only is here for me and my family during the hard times, she is here for us through the good times. She sometimes get more excited than me when good things happen to me and my family. When something happens to me good or bad, Jackie is the first person I call.
Jackie will tell me in a heart beat if she thinks I am wrong about something. I have been wrong. I love her for it.  This is just a small part of Jackie, words can never tell her or any of you what she means to me. I could never tell you in words how wonderful she is
I couldn't think of my world with out her and Blake in it. They are more like my family then friends.
I hope I have been as good a friend to her as she has to me. I could never in a million years repay her for all she has done for me and my family. I could right a book on Jackies kindness. Its not just to me she is that way to all her friends. Being around Jackie is fun, you can be you around her. Jackie and I will be friends for life here on earth and I believe we will find our way to each other on the other side some day. I think she is more than a life time friend, she is a friend forever.
Jackie I love you Lady.

Blake, Jackie husbands is just as wonderful. Blake is like my husband he doesn't post here much. But he is at the conventions and gatherings. Blake is just as wonderful and just as sweet as Jackie. My husband and I love both of them so much. They are apart of our family. Just wish they lived closer by. Buddy is ready for another game of pool Blake!

Love you two.

Brew and Midwestbeth.... I miss them both.  I got to have dinner with Beth... I felt like we had been friends forever.  We have been keeping in touch but I still miss her on the boards.  And Brew... he tells is like it is.   No coddling ... I need that from time to time.  His Wench is pretty nice too! LOL!

There really isn't anyone here that doesn't inspire me in some way.   Though I am still pretty new... I love you all.

Thank you for putting up with my "moods".

Bill Mitchell is one here who I truly like.  He's not gone but he IS missed.

Besides the fact that he is funny as hell...has so much insight to add to the condition of ours..I respect this man, so much.  I admire his intelligent responses around here, his take no BS, that fact that he donated his time and that of his group to pay at the convention in Milwaukee, He is talented as well as one of the most  thought=provoking people around here.

He is an inspiration as to what a "MARRIAGE" really is,  with some of his stories and Pats....I am envious.  I am also hopeful that he will grace us with his presence again soon.

Pat, his wife  is just as important to me, but I needed to say this about Brew because he hasn't been here in a while.

I hadn't opened this thread before tonight.  Wow.

I miss E-Double and I need a Hannah-fix something fierce!  He kept walking around a Richmond  pharmacy telling JrBrew that we (his parents) are "like normal people - they're not ax murderers or anything."  I think Eric was a little freaked out driving out for supplies with a family he just met that day . . . . but everything turned out ok.

I also miss Rorie (lionsound).  I know she has a lot on her plate and a long row to hoe, but I've never met a more genuinely happy person in my life. Any day was sunny when she smiled.

Lovely concept for a thread.  I like it a lot!

Ok - one more.

Ruthie - Jimi's Ruthie.

She is the most gracious supporter and friend anyone could ever hope for.

She invites you into her home and treats you like royalty - even if you're a YANKEE!

Jimi's got a great wife - and he knows it!!

Though this feels heavy it also feels right: I miss greatly Jeff Hall, a fellow sufferer and friend who voluntarily departed under the strain. Jeff and his wife stayed across the street from me and when he feeling well we shared plenty of laughs, commiserated on our rotten CH experience, and always made me feel better about my chess game.

He had a quick wit and hearty laugh.

I understand why you left Jeff but it doesn't mean I can't be pissed to be robbed of your company henceforth, old friend.

This thread really warms my heart, and David that was one of the best posts I will probably ever read… My brother left us of his own free will almost 9 years ago and I will struggle to accept it till the day I leave too. My emotions are starting to get to my eyes so I will finish by saying that the love and compassion I have found on this site has meant more to my wellbeing than I may ever realize.
