Seems to me that the problem is that some don't like anyone to disagree with them!   We all can't have the same personality or manner in which we get our points across.  Now, we all have to walk on eggshells here.   I understand that we should not be down right  crude to one another.   But, in another thread, someone told someone else to "fuck off"  and no one said a word about it.  IT'S ALL IN WHO YOU OFFEND!   This is why I, at one point, felt I didn't fit in...... Out of the CLIQUE you know.

Steph / DJ you have my support, regardless if you listen (or not) to my opinion, this website is way to important for the CH world, and to all of us, regardless if we agree or not, we need to support and promote this tool, it is the best tool we have! (in English)

I don't think he is accusing anyone of anything.  I think he is pointing out an ironic situation.

I am not saying I agree with Mat, but I understand his point: The unintended consequence of the effort to keep people here is that some people have left.

There is an irony there and also an additional element to the moderator role I think. Hopefully DJ wants the moderators to try and ensure that ALL posters are treated fairly, not "blind eyed" if they are out of order because they are popular, or trashed simply because if who they are rather than what they say.

The only true "power" here should be DJ and the posters who purely attempt to help. Any other power struggles or manipulative gameplaying by unwell people that have been going on should be pointless. If the moderators play any of those games, then God help this board. It will be worse than before the moderators were appointed.

ok, I'm a little confused here, how did my original post turn into this...I don't feel that I nor DJ need to explain the decision for Mods anymore than what has already been said.

However, I will say this, if an adult takes the action to delete themselves, no one has anything else to do with that, nor can they be blamed for it!

For those that have chosen to leave, we wish you well and when and if you do decide to come back, we will welcome you with open arms.

I meant no disrespect to Helen, she is a damn fine woman and I love her to death. This is DJ's site he can do with what he wishes. My only point was that One person wants a change or else they leave so they get it, others didn't want it and are free to leave. I could have worded it differently, but as one of those dinging me for my comments told me long ago when I first arrived told me "you have thin skin, if your going to make it here you need to toughen up a little."

Helen has helped alot of people, so has Jonny. How many regulators has he modified for free? Given out for free, how many blocks of cheese has he bought for a 100 dollar bill? That is what my point was.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Helen got what she wanted and is here, Jonny didn't and isn't.

I only used their names because they were the most vocal, there were many on both sides. But I'll be quiet now and crawl back into my hole.
