How ya all
Jan 26th, 2009 at 11:23am

Hello to everyone, my name is Michael from Co Mayo Ireland and decided to do a quick search to see if there was any info out there on C.H. and was amazed to immediately discover a whole community Shocked
I have been suffering since 83 and am 42 now, though fortunately ( or not) have recurrence only every four or five years. I am Married with three children of 12, 6 and 4 and at the moment a couple of weeks into a cycle of C.H. I had no idea it was so common and a crumb of comfort to know that I am not alone, my sympathies are extended to the many of you who suffer far more regularly and significantly more than I do. A great forum, and one from which I will hopefully take a great deal of information.
I would therefor like to extend a warm Hello to all of you here.

Regards

Michael

Hi Michael.
I am a Norwegian woman, 36 years old with two boys 9 and 7, and a girl soon to be 2. I found this place some weeks ago, when I was in my last week with CH. I usually have them 7 weeks every fall, but it lasted much longer the last time. Like you it seems like I have it pretty mild compared to many others, but when we`re in a cycle it`s just very hard. So hang in there. On this forum everyone knows what you go thru.

Hi Michael and Welcome to Clusterville

Very glad you found us.  You've hit the motherlode of CH info/caring/sharing.

What meds are you on?  Do you have 02?  Works for 70% of us to abort attacks.  I can't use triptans, so 02 is my only abortive . . .  can usually kill him in minutes if used early-on in the attack.

Keep reading . . . keep asking . . . you're not alone with our beast any more.

  Be Safe,   PFDANs
