I guess I am too much of an aficionado of the classic old cars.  I breaks my heart to see one of those old classics abused (in my mind) by being made into a hot rod.

Just think how much more impressive, that old Packard would be, if it was restored to its original glory!

OR, I am just a grumpy old fart ...

well allot of that stuff was more or less recycled. they took some old sitting out in the desert and breathed new life into it. the frame was fabricated. if you noticed the rear end was a quick change. the engine is a packard strait 8. if you think that guy is keeping an old nostalgic hobby alive. if you were a car, wouldn't you rather be running up and down the road rather than sitting in a field or a museum?

LOL

I don't know which is more of a sin ... sitting out in a field or barn, or sitting, looking pretty, in some museum ... I like Jay Leno's thoughts on that:  A car is meant to be driven!  Jay drives all of his cars.  They don't just sit there.  They get USED!

Here is Jay, with his 32 Packard: Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register
