Yeehaw fer skewl!
May 24th, 2009 at 8:13am

It is now official. In 2 months I will be unemployed (by choice) for the first time in over 20 years as I will be a full time college stufent.

Thanks to the changes to the GI Bill, I can afford to do this. The Post 9/11 GI Bill is badass.

I am a little worried, scared, unsure, but very excited for sure. I am so stoked it is all I can talk about. School of Viual and Performing Arts at Texas Tech University has accepted my old ass as a full time freshman. Unbelieveable I know, but hey don't look a gift horse in the boca eh?

I can't wait,
Eric

That's great! I have a friend who went there. I've driven past the campus, looks great.

Congratulations and good luck!! College is no longer for just the young. At Lisa's graduation last week they announced a women and out of the audience came the sweetest little voice saying "yay Mommy" There were lots of older people receivng their diplomas.

What will you be studying?
